DC ISES Expo - Part 1

This past Thursday I had the pleasure of attending the Washington, DC International Special Events Society's annual Expo at the Wardman Park Marriott downtown. This annual event brings together the area's top special events vendors and allows them the opportunity to showcase their latest and greatest stuff.

Here's the entry sign to the show. The theme was James Bond since it's 2007 (007, get it? get it?):
Here's the registration table to the right with all the booths behind it. That green screen you see in the center is a 'talking heads' booth -- they cover your body with a green sheet, film your head, then superimpose your head onto a music video:
All the name tags, ready to go! You can see the 'talking heads' again back there:Party Rental, Ltd. is my favorite rental company because they always have the most cutting-edge stuff. This leather-wrapped table needs no linen (see the chair legs on the other side?) and their little square stools have the same black & white-striped linen as the Chivari chair covers. They really hit the 007 theme on the head:A close-up of their table setting. Note the black goblets, octagon-shaped salad plate, lucite napkin holders with pink ribbon, and the gold-rimmed glassware:Another shot of their booth showcasing another seating cube to the right, a seating ottoman in the center (with one of their MANY covers), and their sleek shiny black dance floor:Stay tuned! More photos of vendor displays are coming soon.

  • Wow, i like the centerpiece very much. The total arrangement looks nice in black and white color combination linens. Linen rentals play an important role in celebrating the occasion.
